Mother Teresa was born in 1910 in Skopje, Macedonia. At the age of 18 she came to the Loreto Convent in Rathfarnam Dublin, where she was admitted as a postulant and received the name of Teresa. After this she was sent to Calcutta and in 1950 she founded the Missionaries of Charity. Awarded the Bobel Peace Prize in 1979, she died in 1997.
